2020 SNIA Persistent Memory Summit was hold on January 23, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara. Doctor Yafei Yang, CEO of DapuStor (www.dputech.com), co-presented with Eden Kim, CEO of Calypso, to show the comparison of different performance data in Optane Persistent Memory (DCPMM), NVDIMM-N, XL-FLASH based NVMe SSD, Optane 3D XPoint NVMe SSD and 3D NAND NVMe SSD on a variety of real world application workloads (https://www.snia.org/pm-summit/2020-presentation-abstracts#14).


As machine learning, artificial intelligence, and real-time data analysis are widely deployed, real-time data processing becomes more and more important. How to find the best balance between key factors such as performance, price, and capacity remains a challenge for the storage industry. DapuStor introduces a new Storage Class Memory (SCM) product Haishen3-XL, which is based on the latest XL-FLASH, which provides extremely low latency, long life and ultra-high performance for great product experience.


Haishen3-XL exhibits down to 20.00μs ultra-low end to end random read latency, and this number is very close to Intel Optane SSD 11.90μs. As Kioxia officially released, XL-FLASH is an optimized SLC-class fast NAND, so Haishen3-XL is very easier to adopt by system providers or data centers.

DapuStor Haishen3-XL series will deliver 400GB/800GB/1600GB version, now the early sample is ready for key customers to initially set up, the official release will be in this Q2.
